Now the partition to which you wish to shrink the partition is highlighted. Click on the GParted button and shrink the partition by dragging the left and right sides of the partition to the right. A dialog box will appear, as you can see in the screen capture above. You can also see that the new free space is added to the end of the partition, rather than to the beginning.
