International Butt Hunt Fix
As we discussed in our first article, the cat is an animal that loves to hunt, but by putting the word “hunt” in quotation marks, we do not imply that the cat is motivated by food. In the case of their domestication, cats have been successfully domesticated to the extent that they are no longer motivated by food.

Bob lived in the woods with his mate, Jane. Bob had this need to catch prey and Jane had this need to protect him from the danger posed by predators. During the day, Jane did not have to hunt for food, and Bob got on with all sorts of other things, like sleeping or killing insects.
At night, Bob would have dinner with Jane. During this time, Jane would guard her mate, who was usually in the habit of hunting at night. She would lie beside him, ready to protect him from any danger, even if this meant that she herself would get some prey.
